Sheltered Housing provides specialist accommodation for people aged 50 and over.
All tenants enjoy the independence of their own front door and self -contained accommodation with the services of a scheme manager.
Sheltered housing can offer you a range of services to help you live independently with the added security of having someone to call on in emergencies.
The schemes in both Fitton Hill and Stockbridge Village consist of flats or bungalows. Some properties have been specially adapted for people with a disability.
The role of the scheme manager
The scheme manager's role is to support tenants to live independently. They are available Monday to Friday.
The scheme manager will contact you daily, they are the first point of contact for repairs rent and benefit issues. They will help you to stay safe and get involved in social activities if you wish.
Brandearth /Roughesdge House, Stockbridge Village.
Located within Stockbridge Village this grouped accommodation includes 48 one bedroom flats and 20 bungalows in Spruce Grove.
This scheme has the services of a 24 hour alarm system, and a scheme manager.
On site facilities also includes:

- Communal laundry facilities
- Communal gardens
Sheltered Bungalows in Fitton Hill, Oldham.
There are 121 bungalows that have the services of a 24 hour alarm system and floating scheme manager support .The bungalows have undergone an extensive refurbishment programme including new fitted kitchens and bathrooms and heating systems.
