Apprentice Opportunities in Oldham

Upturn Enterprise Limited, in partnership with Guinness Northern Counties, is offering apprentice opportunities to join our Estates Teams. These 12-month fixed term training opportunities are part of the National Apprenticeship Scheme.
Successful applicants will work alongside experienced team members developing new skills. You will be introduced to a wide range of general caretaking duties including landscaping, cleaning, minor internal and external property repairs, waste collection and removals, clearing and preparing properties for occupation.
To be considered for this post you must be able to demonstrate:
• Good communication skills but most importantly the determination to learn and develop
• A genuine interest in residential parks & gardens maintenance
• A proven track record of working as a team player
• The ability to work and communicate well with people of all ages and from a diverse range of backgrounds
• The ability to follow instructions and comply with prescribed and safe working practices
• Proven track record of being able to learn new things
• Enthusiastic and keen to learn
The Opportunity
A new exciting career, training in Estate Services including customer service and tenant participation 35 hours/ £100 per weekNVQ Level 1, 2, or 3 & Key Skills Integrated job related training including Health and SafetyPersonal/Career Development support 12-month contract 20 days paid holiday
Who can apply?
The funding we have available for these apprenticeships is for 16-24 year olds only.
