Stockbridge Office Closure
Wednesday 20th July 2011
The Stockbridge Village Villages Housing Office will be closed from 5 August 2011 for approximately 3 months.
It is nearly seventeen years since Villages Housing moved into our current offices, a period that has seen the company grow to owning properties in St. Helens and Oldham, as well as Stockbridge Village. Our staff numbers have also increased, to a point where space is now very limited in our office.
So we will be carrying out some refurbishment work to the office to maximise space and natural light for our staff. This means we will have to close the main Villages office to do this work.
From 5 August 2011 we will be temporarily relocating to units 2 and 3 in the Croft Shopping Centre - the two shops that used to be Knowsley Works and the Family Intervention Project - for approximately three months. Whilst the work is taking place, you will be able to PAY YOUR RENT and call in to RECEPTION atUNIT 3.
PLEASE NOTE that unit 2 is for office use only and not accessible by the public. The shops will still close on a Wednesday morning from 9-10am for staff training, as the Villages office did.
So what does this mean for you, our customers?
Most importantly, you should not notice any difference when you phone, as all calls will automatically be directed to the department that you wish to speak to, as happens now. In the new office, the biggest change customers will see is that the new reception area will be smaller, but there will be three interview rooms and the rent and reception counters will be joined together as one large counter, which will mean we can offer a much-improved customer service, and will hopefully mean customers spend less time queuing.
We're hoping that all of the works will be complete in October 2011.
