Community Champions

To help and support our residents, Villages are currently developing a "Community Champions" programme for all residents of Stockbridge Village. The program aims to deliver greater awareness and understanding of energy efficiency and usage in the home. Information will include;

• how we use energy,

• how we can be more energy efficient and

• the impact the use of energy has on the climate.

Villages Housing will also help trained "Community Champions" or "buddies" to offer bespoke energy advice to individual residents on

• Their new heating system and controls (this will be offered to all residents)

• Controlling condensation in the home

• Paying for their fuel

• The running cost of electrical appliances

• How to read and understand Energy Performance Certificates and how to influence their future performance.
